The Chase Taxidermy Studio provides full-body turkey mounts along with fan, beard and spur displays. Our craftsmanship highlights the unique features of your turkey, creating a beautiful and lasting display of your hunting success.
You've harvested a turkey and want a full-body Mount,
now what?

Do not gut or cut the bird in any way. we will not take gutted or skinned birds.

When the turkey expires, smooth the feathers in the direction of the natural flow. If the bird loses any wing feathers or tail fan feathers, pick them up and include with your bird to us.

Wrap head in paper towel and secure with rubber bands, place plastic bag over the head to prevent blood on the feathers.

Transport the turkey breast-side down and make sure not to damage or bend feathers. If you cannot deliver the bird to us on the first day, you will need to freeze your turkey.

Fan, Beard & Spur display, now what?

Be sure your animal is properly tagged.

Remove the head of the animal at head and neck junction (base of the skull).

Place your head in a garbage bag. It can be frozen or thawed (we prefer it thawed).

You can drop off your skull at any time in our convenient, 24/7, camera-monitored drop bin or you can call to make an appointment.

If you choose the drop-bin method, you can stop by any time and follow the instructions located on the bin.
